Meadow Pipit.Smaller than a Skylark,breeds in the open country,also on saltmarshes and dune systems.Many of these birds to be seen both on the sparse grassland around the rocky sea defences ,and amid'st the gorse thickets.
 
 
 
Juvenile Meadow Pipit.Both these shots were taken on the Haverigg sea defences .The adult in the shot above is the parent to this juvenile.
