Greenfinch .A popular visitor to garden feeders.Sadly during the prev 2 years these birds contacted a virus,and their numbers are now in decline.
 
 
 
Goldfinch.One of the most colourful of our finches.Loves to feed on Niger seed,.Can often be seen perching atop thistles,picking out the seeds.Numbers are increasing.

Male Bullfinch.One of the larger of our native finches.
 
Female Bullfinch.Has not the vibrant plumage as the male,and is very wary,the male is much bolder,the female does tend to keep in the background.

Yellowhammer-1st shot taken of this species,very similar to a Siskin in appearance.
